the month of october

I may not be as good at this blogging thing as I would have hope. ohwell. Anyways.... October has been filled with A LOT of things. Firsts things firsts. Chase passed his FTO training period and now has his own police car! woot woot! It has been such an adjustment but it is the best feeling to be married to someone who LOVES their job. He is so excited to go to work and when he comes home he is so excited to tell me about his adventures. And I love hearing about them. It is very hard being married to a police officer. The one thing that sucks is that I can not expect him home time. EVER. And that is hard. So I just be patient and pray that he remains safe. But I am soo glad that he talks to me about his job. Many other wives of police officers told me that a way to show support to this career is to be interested in what he does so he can come home and talk to you. And he does and I love it :) I am so proud of him!

October is so fun. This year my family went a corn maze that had this amazing slide that was surprisingly very fast. And a bunch of cute things for kids to do.  Also October is my birthday month. This year my birthday fell on a tuesday and luckily both Chase and I had it off. He took to be this fun pizza place in Ogden (I was very skeptic before because I hate ogden) but it was soo good! It was buy buy by the slice and the slices were just as big as a normal pizza. Yum! Then I went shopping. But of course when you go shopping you never find anything you want but it was still an enjoyable day spending the day with him. I don't get to so much any more.

My birthday dinner.
My family made this amazing dinner for me! It was so good. We got the idea off of pinterest of course. My mom made the ribs for the ribs, and then we made pot roast with potatoes and carrots for the insides  along with lil smokies. It was so good and my nieces and nephews loved it!

Lastly,  my siblings and I decided to buy my parents family pictures for Christmas.  My family came up to Ogden and we had them done at Bues Pond Park. It is the most fun park. Little bridges and ponds everywhere with tons of trees. I would recommend this park. I think the pictures turned out really good, especially if you know my family (we don't take anything serious).

Ill try to update this more!
